• Importing clients is via .csv file only

• To use the e mail system correctly you must have outlook/outlook express settings (no online addresses i.e. hotmail, yahoo, gmail etc)

• To watch the videos you must have QuickTime. If you do not have it then download it free here

• For any upgrades or re-installation it is recommended that all your data is backed up first to avoid any data loss.

• The programme relies on internet activation (after purchase) to ensure authenticity of registered keycodes. Any attempt to register by a non purchaser will result in a non issue of a licence code and render the programme unusable.

Updates:

Before any updates/re-installation, you must back up your data first. Back up your data via the 'settings' tab. Removing Cleaners Mate should not remove your data, so re-installing/updating is easy. However, it is always advisable to manually back up your information by copying the Data folder (can be found in your Programme Files/CleanPro/Cleaners Mate folder) and saving it to your desktop temporarily. Once the new version is installed simply put the one on your desktop into the Programme Files/CleanPro/Cleaners Mate folder and replace (if you need to).

  Version 1.3.1: This update corrects a minor issue with the current day's date being shown on the printed invoice, instead of the invoice date. It now shows the date entered that you choose (created/Sent).

• 30/11/08
  Version 1.3.0: this update allows users to set their own VAT rate. Also on the printed invoices a grand total will show to include sub total and VAT.

Data Conversion:

Importing/Exporting of data can be incredibly complicated but most databases allow you to transfer basic data in terms of client details and notes etc. There isn't much more a database can do in terms of importing/exporting as there are too many variables involved especially in relation to invoices/history of work etc. This applies to even the most extensive/expensive and popular databases available online or from the high st.

However, we want all of our customers to enjoy the full extent of Cleaners Mate and this is why we can offer a data conversion service above and beyond what other companies can offer. To transfer all names, addresses, notes and invoice history - for each and every one of your clients, a relatively small fee would be charged. We ourselves would make no money whatsoever from this as we would ask our associates who converted ours to do it for you.
